We are happy to provide onboard installation and services on boats in Northwest Washington
Aloft Work
We offer aloft services such as: retrieving skied halyards, lubricating sheeves, changing up-mast lights, servicing and installing windexes and anemometers, and more.
Hardware Upgrades
We carry a wide variety of sailing and marine hardware. Whether you are looking to re-organize your deck, or just upgrade existing hardware for smoother action, we have what you need. Not sure what you need? Ask one of our knowledgeable riggers and they can point you in the right direction.
Winch Installation and Service
We service and install manual and electric winches.
Consulting
If your boat is in the area, we are happy to visit your boat and consult with you on ways to improve your rigging for safety and ease of sailing.
Rig Commissioning and De-Commissioning
We offer full rig commissioning. We will unpack and fully rig a brand-new boat, or a boat that’s been packed up and shipped to the Northwest.
We carefully unpack and inspect all pertinent parts, wash the shipping residue off the rig, install and test the lights and electronics, attach all of the rigging, step the mast, tune the rigging, and run the lines so your boat is ready to sail.
We also offer rig de-commissioning.
We can un-step the mast, remove the rigging and carefully pack everything in swaddling clothes so that the mast can be transported safely.
In-Shop Service
Spar Rebuilds and Refits
If a rig needs a lot of work, it is often cheaper and easier to have us remove it from the boat and bring it to our shop for service. Here we can quickly and safely replace rigging, wiring, lights, windexes, spreaders, radars, anemometers, etc.
Custom Splicing
In our shop, our team of expert splicers can provide a wide variety of custom splices and ropework.
